cOMPASSIONATe, whole-person SUPPORT FOR ALL KS & MO PARENTS
Promoting the mental health and well-being of all mothers, birthing persons, partners, and support systems in Kansas & Missouri

How we're helping
Mental health conditions are a leading cause of pregnancy-related deaths in Kansas and Missouri. This is due, in part, to a lack of access to low-cost resources for parents and caregivers.
It is our mission at Whole Parent Foundation to provide inclusive and accessible mental health support and community for pregnant persons, parents, partners, and their support systems in order to enrich the health and wellbeing of our Kansas and Missouri communities.

By networking with organizations and providers across both states, we are working to improve community services and bring more resources to you: more support groups, lactation and feeding support, food assistance, childcare options and more.
Join us
Do you provide a good or service that specifically benefits parents and want to reach more parents? Are you looking for a charitable organization to support that reflects your values? Are you a nonprofit that seeks to make connection with other like-minded organizations? We'd love to hear from you!

WHAT PARENTS SAY
"We found the Whole Parent Foundation looking for a support group to join as first-time parents. Finding this group has been a godsend. It has helped us build a sense of community and support. Grateful that we have another resource to help us connect and learn as we go on this new journey!"
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We recognize that Kansas City is located on the ancestral homelands of Indigenous peoples who continue to live here today. We invite you to join us in honoring the many tribal nations connected to this region, including but not limited to the Osage, Kaw, Missouria, Shawnee, Kickapoo, Sioux, and Wyandot peoples.
We pay our respect to the elders of all tribal nations who have called this land their home, both past and present, and acknowledge our responsibility to continue learning from their histories as we strive to care for the land we now share. To learn more about the original stewards of this land, we encourage you to visit the Native Land website.
